Several automatic translation tools exist on the market. Among them, a distinction has to be made between the general language machine translation software, often relying on fixed dictionaries and grammatical rules and those specialised in a specific domain which can be fully customised thanks to machine learning. VERTO has the specific ability to “learn” from the texts previously translated by its users and to integrate the corrections made to the translation proposals. VERTO is converting linguistic information into statistics in order to identify the series of words and sentences that are best suited for a translation in a specific domain for a specific user. Once VERTO has been trained, it will allow a finance professional to translate an average of 6000 to 8000 words a day, instead of the average of 1500 to 2500 words per day that can be translated manually.
